Our Software Connected to SQL Server

We have released a new version of our inventory software Calus 2014 that enabled to connect it to the data that reside on a Microsoft SQL Server.
In the past we had some minor problems with this database and for this reason we preferred to wait a few weeks to release this update which is important for those who have a number of workstations and client-server infrastructure.
From the main menu you need to click on the “Server Connection Data” to open the window where you can make the connection wizard, you could also enter the OleDB connection string in the text box, but do not believe that, unless you are very experienced, many people know how to do.
Once inside the window for the connection, you can choose the type of database to use, when Jet 4.0 (Simple Access file) by default or MS SQL Server, MySQL in the future also enable and others. Change of type of provider data, you must enter the authentication data: SQL server name, user name, password and catalog to operate, then click on the “Test Connection” and if everything is correct you enable the “Save and Close “which allows you to update the data source and hence the company to use if there is one, otherwise the program will prompt you to enter at least one.
Calus 2014 is a new generation of management software and it is also demonstrated by this very high potential that allows you to manage different databases depending on usage in the company.
