Our management software are organized on all of the windows in the list that at first sight seem equal to each other, this is true, but there are even more marked differences. First, there are differences between our products both paid and free, virtual lists that allow you to manage a lot of data and processing time requirements (maybe we’ll explain the operation in detail in a future article) are just typical of the first. Then we have the filters that are up to in the first column under the heading of the same and seconds are only buttons.
From this picture above you can see how the data is structured in our software, in this case Minos. We have a list of values that can be selected and it is possible to operate on them. To search for a value you simply write the word in the space provided at the top of the columns, of course, if found, will select the corresponding line. We can search for a value for each column visible and you can usually choose the headers to work with.
The filters are easy to handle, in fact you have to write the values to be selected in the column headers and click one of the buttons with the image of a filter. We can insert the filter values of multiple columns, in this case will be concatenated with the ‘logic “AND”, that will be visible only the data with the first value respected and the second, the third, and so on.
As for sorting, the operation is as follows, typical of any list of Windows: the first click you get the list sorted in ascending order, then from smallest to highest, the second click on the same column ‘sort is descending. If we do not have a column sort, of course you will have to first click the ascending one.
At first glance it seems a little complicated to work with lists, especially if it comes from old management software without this kind of support that seems to slowly become the standard for business programs.
