One night I was inserting the link to an article I wrote on a Facebook page, and I noticed an inscription below to make sure to highlight the post. I pressed the button and invested 4 dollars, after a few minutes the “like” to post there have been exponentially. The page in question is the beauty of my country and there are many photographs. After this test I thought I’d do the same to promote my free software for warehouse, in fact the cost to “like” it was very advantageous compared to other advertising channels, in the first case.
The test of a post that covered the entire software and Facebook page were truly negative, the cost of a “like” in fact has risen five-fold compared to the previous ones and 10 euro have gone without satisfactory results. My purpose was to make known to most people as possible of my software for the warehouse very cute and since it is free, I thought that if I would have shared much, however little or nothing.
At this point then we come to my conclusions after some tests made with advertising on Facebook and their users:
- They love games and photos, things very short read.
- They hate to read a lot and leave out long articles.
- They do not think of some work, but at that moment you are digressing and he likes frivolous things.
- Most think that the Internet is Facebook.
So if you are going to promote your software, especially if managerial type, do not spend money in vain, maybe someone happens to interested, but it’s like having a fortune for novice fisherman.
I’m sorry that the large amount of Facebook users and especially the many features of profiling them, do not give (at least in my tests) at least one unsatisfactory results (maybe it will be that I did the tests in a period of crisis), because potential are all there, but it’s like groped to know a girl at the sea intent on sunbathing, there is little chance!
