Filter Goods in Warehouse Software Calus Plus

With the release of version 1.8.0 of Calus 2014 we introduced the filter of the goods stock for serial number, description and category. It is really simple, but there may be some who do not know this way of working, and then this article was written.
For those working with hundreds of inventory items to filter this data is extremely important, because it focuses on a limited number of materials. In Calus 2014 we have added the ability to filter inventory items for freshman, description and category. For example we would like to be able to view and then print only the fruit, which we previously incorporated in its specific category. Then just click on the button shaped like a funnel to open the window that allows the entry of these three data. In the last field just enter “Fruit” and press the “Filter”, magically we have only the category “Fruit” visible in the list at this point we could print or perform other activities on the filtered data.

Finally only two technical notions:

  1. The wildcard in Calus 2014 is “*” (as well as in all our other operations) and this means that from this point forward, anything goes. For example, we can filter out all the merchandise that begins with the letter “A” entering only this vowel because the program automatically inserts an asterisk (wildcard) at the end of the keyword. Other use of the wildcard character is the search for materials that begin with “D” and end with “A”, just enter “D * A” as a search term and you’re done.
  2. Among the various fields of research there is a “logical and“, that will be searched for first year students, then the descriptions and then the categories exclusion of all else. For example, I can filter out all items starting with “D” and end with “A”, as we have seen before, within categories.

Some of these techniques are quite complicated, but once you understand the mechanism is very powerful, can work.
